Kids/Youth Race will be Friday evening.
Adult Race is on Saturday morning. Registration for both events begins 1 hour before the start time.
This race is a shorter version of the adult race. The kids race includes 1/4 mile of kayaking, 1/2 mile of mountain biking, and 1/2 mile of running. Individuals or Teams are welcome.
This race is slightly longer then the kids race. The kids race includes 1 mile of kayaking, 3 mile of mountain biking, and 1/2 mile of running. Individuals or Teams are welcome.
The adult race is 2.9 kayaking, 9.1 mountain biking, and 3.2 trail running.
The team option allows a different person to run each leg of the race. It works best with a team of 2 or 3. Come up with your team name before the race. A typical race has teams and individuals compete at the same time.
The start and finish will be at the same location. Start at the race tent and run to the awaiting kayaks (including paddles and life jackets). When you finished the water portion (blue) run to your awaiting mountain bike (and helmet) and change shoes if needed. Then do the mountain biking portion of the race (green). Put your bike in the rack and run the last leg of the race (red).
Arrive 1 hour early so you have time to unload your kayak and mountain bike and get them set up. First get your race packet that will include your race number. You will also need to sign a waiver if you have not done it ahead of time. It may also be helpful to go over the race course with one of the volunteers if this is your first time.

We will transition from kayaking to mountain biking to running at the start/finish line so set up your transition gear at your spot so it is ready.

Kayaking includes maneuvering around 5 buoys in the lake. The racers do a figure 8 pattern around the bouys and end at the same location.
Mountain Biking leg of the race is on one of the best trails in the area. We recommend biking a few times on the trail to become familiar with it.
Trail Running will be on a portion of the mountain bike trail. This portion of the trial is winding with a few rocks and narrow single track.
